Our mission

Our mission: a dating space without the shame tax

Why this platform exists

The idea started, as most niche platforms do, with frustration. A founding member spent three years on mainstream dating apps cycling through the same script - match, chat, disclose, watch the conversation die. The pattern was so consistent it stopped feeling personal and started feeling structural. Generic apps were not built with this conversation in mind, so the disclosure always landed in the wrong room.

An inclusive dating app for this audience did not really exist. There were forums and subreddits with warmth but no real product. There were premium paywalled apps with product but no warmth. We wanted both: the community feel of a thoughtful subreddit, with the safety, design, and privacy controls of a modern dating platform.

So we built one. The first version launched quietly in early 2026 with an anonymous-mode default, free core messaging, and a comfort-level indicator instead of a confidence score. Every feature since has been judged against one question: does this make members feel safer to be themselves, or does it just make the app look busier?

A note on our size-positive philosophy

Size-positive is not a softer way to say "do not worry about it." It is an active stance. It means we treat anatomy the way every honest piece of relationship research treats it - as one variable among many, and rarely the deciding one. Communication, emotional safety, and shared values consistently outrank size in long-term partner satisfaction. That is the ground we build on.

It also means we are skeptical of the dating industry's habit of selling insecurity back to people as premium features. There is no "boost" here that promises to compensate for what you look like.
