Anonymous mode is the one switch that defines this platform. When it is on - and it is on by default - your photos are blurred to anyone you have not matched with, your profile is hidden from general search, and screenshot deterrence is active on supported devices.
The toggle is a neon-indicator switch at the top of your profile. Flip it off only when you are ready to be discoverable to a broader audience. Most members leave it on for weeks or months before adjusting. Unlike incognito dating apps that charge for privacy, we treat it as a baseline feature, not an upsell.

Do I need to give my real name to sign up?
No. A display handle and a working email are the only required fields at sign-up. You can use a pseudonym indefinitely. Real-name verification is optional and never shown publicly - it only raises a small trust badge on your profile.
Can I change my comfort level after creating a profile?
Yes, anytime. The comfort level indicator lives at the top of your profile settings and accepts Low, Medium, and Open. Changes take effect instantly and retroactively filter the kinds of messages you receive from new conversations.
Is incognito browsing really free?
Yes. Unlike most incognito dating apps that charge five to fifteen dollars a month for private browsing, we treat anonymous mode and incognito search as baseline features. They are on by default and cost nothing.
What happens if someone makes me uncomfortable in chat?
Tap the block icon in the chat header. The member is removed from your feed, search, and any future suggestions within seconds. If you add a report, a human moderator reviews it within 24 hours and can take account-level action.
